Mei Lai Wah

Had the famous pineapple pork bun to go. It was very tasty with perfectly and semi sweetly seasoned filling with a pineapple covered crust top.
One of these is pretty filling and can almost be thought of as a pastry.

I've tried the pork bun and the sugary egg yolk bun and they were very tasty for sure

I really wanted to like it but unfortunately it’s not that good…and trust me, I know my Chinese food.

The pineapple buns are a must and an institution. These are a must try. I would not recommend ordering the other menu items. I tried the full menu thinking it’d be as great as the pineapple pork buns and they are not.
